# Thinking/Reasoning Models

> Take advantage of a smarter and thinking oriented AI models. Open WebUI supports them out of the box.

OpenAI has its thinking/reasoning models but they are only available for use only if you verify your identity with OpenAI. To do so, once you're logged in into OpenAI's dashboard, you can visit the link below:

Once you are whitelisted by OpenAI, you can immediately use the models in Open WebUI.

  When you click on the `Thought for 4 seconds` area, the detail about how the AI came up with the answer will be shown.
